I went to Dastaan when Chef Nand was cooking there.
Absolutely superb, but even harder to get to than Surbiton. I can`t find anyone willing to get on the train to join me for a meal at Koyal. Sigh.
I`ll just have to go on a fast for 3 days and then just go on my own.
Chef Nand cooks the best lamb chops I`ve ever had...

I’m in! Big fan of Black Salt (sister or maybe cousin restaurant; also hyped by Andy H) - when they first opened, corkage was only £15 but has since gone up to £25 (still v reasonable). Yet to try Koyal.
I have just been diagnosed with coeliac decease so reading restaurant reviews all of a sudden became painful :((
