Gosh it feels strange to think of Tupperware going into administration. Though, as a reusable product, in some ways its expiry is kind of built into the model? Or should be, once it's reached market penetration? Obviously that's not entirely the reason, but it is the shame of more environmentally sustainable solutions: they can be hard to build sustainable businesses around.

Very interesting move from Jimi to David... I also would love to know what actually happened. It does feel strange after Jimi won awards...

I agree re: Tupperware. At some point, everyone has all the Tupperware they need, right? Also, we've found ourselves migrating to more durable, better made stuff over the last few years. Maybe they have just been behind the trend for too long. And I agree re: the Standard. It's clearly a part of cost-cutting as they end the print edition, but it seems an odd decision.

Cost-cutting makes sense, if that's the reason. I guess David can cover food and wine for less than paying two people separately?

We also get so many containers from take away places that are reusable for a while and stack nicely plus you don't mind giving someone something in them where the container might never make it back! :-D

Also meant to add that I like you include non-newspaper writers in your round-ups. It's clear how much work goes into writing this and it's appreciated!

That's very kind! And I'm glad you enjoy the wider array of reviewers. I'm trying to work out how to bring in more of the video-driven reviewers, but I struggle to find a good way to do it. Maybe someday...
