It is not quite the same but it reminds of why I used to go to Leon back in the day, especially the one by Blackfriars.

Indeed. I had a similar vibe, although I think the food is better at Farmer J, even compared to Leon in its early days. Leon launched a new menu here for January, and it seems like they might be getting their mojo back a bit as well.

Honestly, I have not been to one of their outlets since 2014! I left the country around that time and we do not have them in Dubai. It was a welcomed reprieve from the usual onslaught of cold sandwiches.

My experience of the two Canary Wharf branches was that nothing in my field tray was what I would call hot. How did you get on with food temps on your visit?

I was at the St James location at about 1245p on a Friday, and the food was a good temp. But it’s not great if that’s an inconsistency. Thanks for sharing.

When I worked on Canary Wharf we would queue around the block for Farmer J! Food always well prepared tasty and good value.
